Evil children.

My grandparents had a summerhouse that they had built themselves. I loved to be there.
I vividly remember that me and my cousin constantly had fights about everything and that no matter how angry I got I couldn't hit her. She and her little brother has this disease when the blood doesn't coagulate. This made me even more frustrated so one day I threw a plastic water container on her head. She screamed and she screamed and I knew she was just faking it, because it didn't threw it that hard at all. Now, I don't know anymore, she could have gotten real hurt. But we always became friends again, until next fight.
My grandmother was more than patient with us, we were like two evil hurricanes there every summer. One time, at my cousins grandparents summerhouse we were told to take our 6 years younger cousin with us when were going for a walk. We did not want to take her with us. She must have been about three years old then and we about nine or ten. We took her into the forest and helped her to climb up a big rock that she couldn't come down from, then we left her there, went back to the house and said that we had lost her. They got very angry with us and we had to go back and get her. The poor little girl was so afraid. She tried to pretend it didn't matter, because she wanted to be tough like the big girls, like us. But we weren't tough, we were just stupid and mean. We were of course damaged by bad parenting, and hadn't developed empathy as much as is considered normal and we also triggered eachother to be tougher than the other.
I looked up to her and she looked up to me. So it is today too, but now we encourage eachother to be good loving human beings instead. I hope our little cousin will forgive us someday. I have apologized many times, but I still feel guilty.

Love

Love is in the air and babies are everywhere.
How I wish I was there.

Arguments.

Arguments concerning the fluffing of the cushions.
So I tell him to tidy the sofa, because it's included in the morning ritual of turning on the dishwasher, taking out the garbage and clean the livingroom table and today it was his turn to do this. I have to watch him with the sofa because he does it all wrong, so I have to tell him step by step how it is properly done.
He then complains about this, tells me to look away, in the anticipation that when I look back he will magically have done it right, but I know that he must have done it wrong anyway.
But when I look at the sofa, it's perfect. I laugh at my own sillyness and his effort to please it.

Andromeda

I got this from a friend in an email and since I from Andromeda I thought it was interesting to read the story behind the greek myth:

The story behind the name.

Andromeda was the daughter of Cepheus and
Cassiopeia, king and queen of Joppa, a country on the Mediterranean
coast. Queen Cassiopeia boasted that she and her daughter were more
beautiful than the Nereids, the sea-nymph attendants of the sea god
Poseidon and the sea goddess Thetis. Some stories say that both Thetis
and Amphitrite, who was the wife of the sea god Poseidon (and in some
places considered an alternate sea goddess) were also Nereids. This
meant that Cassiopeia had insulted the gods with her boast. The Nereids
begged Poseidon to punish Cassiopeia. Poseidon sent flood waters
carrying a sea monster (in some versions named Cetus) to destroy the
kingdom.

An oracle told Cepheus that the only way to appease Poseidon and save
the kingdom was to sacrifice Andromeda to the monster. Andromeda was
chained to a seaside cliff to be eaten by the monster. Perseus, a son
of Zeus and a mortal mother, was on his way home from carrying out his
pledge to destroy the Medusa. He saw Andromeda in peril and instantly
fell in love with her.
Johannes Hevelius' Andromeda
from Uranographia (1690)
He offered to destroy the monster, rescue Andromeda, and save the
kingdom in return for her hand in marriage. Cepheus and Cassiopeia
agreed reluctantly (having already promised her to someone else).
Perseus killed the monster and freed the princess.

Andromeda insisted on keeping the promise made by her parents and
married Perseus. As a reward, the goddess Athena (who had been helping
Perseus to defeat the Medusa) placed an image of Andromeda in the stars.

The basic constellation is in the shape of an "A" with a star
representing Andromeda's head at the point of the "A". Some versions
are more elaborate, tracing her outspread arms chained to the cliff.

World domination 2

Of course it would be totally and utterly wrong of any country to by force try to rule the world, that would definitely lead to chaos.
But USA is presenting an image of being a democrasy, they don't ever say " we are doing this, because we want to take over the world" ( even though it may be what they are thinking..), they say "we are doing this because we want to help you". So from their point of view they are acting in a peacepreserving way and anybody who accuses them for anything different are immediatly being accused for being anti-democratic threats to all peacful societies and have to be converted or destroyed, for the "good" of all. It is a hostile takeover cloaked with the illusion of rightgeousness and they just might succeed with this, if nobody takes pretty immediate action and stop them, and who would that be? Who can say no to USA? It would have to be coalition of ALL other countries on the planet. So maybe that could lead to a world democrasy instead, but if that doesn't happen very soon USA will continue with their agenda. They are jumping in in every conflict now, acting as saviors of the situation, making everybodies business their business.
So I think the world goverment is on its way sooner than we would have expected it. What kind of world goverment it will be, is still left to be seen.
The poor state of the planet and all diseases are a common outer threats for humanity and not to meantion all the recent natural disasters. And also that we strive for constant improvement, not only survival. Humanity wants to be better than it is now. These factors will make the transition to a one goverment democrasy a more appealing idea than letting things be as they are now. We fear change but can never resist it in the end.
